This website describes the services and facilities available by Stuart Thomson Photography. By using any of these services you are agreeing to be legally bound to the Terms and Conditions as detailed here. The company reserves the right to amend or update these terms without prior notice. If you do not agree with the statements in these Terms and Conditions you should refrain from using the services or facilities offered by Stuart Thomson Photography.

All bookings are subject to confirmation by making full payment. Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 5 days or as otherwise agreed in writing.

I reserve the right to cancel any provisional booking if full payment has not been made before the date advised or within 5 days of being requested to make payment in full. Payment in full is the only method of confirming a booking.

Payment for confirmed bookings are refundable in the event of a cancellation based on the following:

1) Less than 5 calendar days of the date of hire: No refund or credit
2) Between 5 and 10 days of the date of hire: 50% refund
3) More than 10 days of the date of hire: 100% refund less costs (max 10%)

Payment can be made by one of the following methods:

1) PayPal.
2) BACS transfer. Full refunds will not accrue any costs if payment is made through this method.
3) Credit or Debit Card via PayPal
4) Cheque
5) Cash

The Hirer will be liable for all costs of repair or replacement for damages caused by the Hirer, the Hirer’s Guests, Clients, Models, MUA, Stylist, assistants or any other 3rd party associated with the Hirer whilst hiring the studio. This includes all studio lighting, flash heads, tubes, lighting modifiers, stands & dolly’s, triggers, meters and other computers.

Unreasonable damage to paper and vinyl backdrops, props and accessories not caused by normal use. Damage to the shooting stage, infinity curve, walls, windows, fixtures and fittings.
Replacements or repairs will be chargeable at the full rate estimated on the day of hire.

General wear and tear, electronic or mechanical faults will not be charged.

If the studio is left in an unreasonable state of order after hire and requires specific cleaning those charges will be met by the Hirer in full as estimated on the day of Hire.

All information provided by Stuart Thomson Photography must be treated as private and confidential unless otherwise specified. Stuart Thomson Photography will take all reasonable steps to ensure Hirer information is protected and used only for the purpose and in the context in which it was provided. No information will be shared with a third party unless agreed to by the Hirer or if Stuart Thomson Photography is required to do so by the law.

In accordance with UK law NO SMOKING is permitted within the studio or the building. There is an informal smoking area outside the main entrance to the building.

During weekdays other businesses operate in proximity to Stuart Thomson Photography, the Hirer is required to refrain from excessive use of loud music as a courtesy to the other residents of Cherwell Business Village.

Stuart Thomson Photography takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of the Hirers property and equipment. Stuart Thomson Photography does not accept any responsibility, and expressly excludes liability, for loss or damage to personal property (including camera’s, computer equipment and software), including any financial or any other losses resulting from loss or damage to the hirer’s studio or its facilities, where such loss or damage is a result of theft, fire, flood, computer virus or any cause related to computer facilities, or any other cause, except where such loss or damage is caused by negligence.

It is highly recommended the Hirer should insure their personal property against the risk of loss or damage.
