Another visit today, meet up with Ryan (TheNissanMan from Talk Photography), weather was wet at times, but that's all part of the fun, they have put the Sifaka back in his cadge today, apparently he is getting on well with the new one through the wire, there plan is if they continue to get on, to release both of them in to the Walk-through
Well had another Studio Session today at Paul's Studio in Reading, this time I was working with a different model by the name of Tina, she was a great person to work with, did some more low key Nude, as well as some Glamour, some shots from the shoot will be going up in the Galleries (for anyone who wants a look), I am looking forward to the chance of working with Tina again as was a pleasure to work with, and has a great look about her .
Hi, well had another visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park today, had some good weather for the few hours I was there. The Penguin Enclosure is pretty much finished now, they were just putting the finishing touches on it today, the Crowned Sifaka looks to be settling in well to the Walk-through area, managed to get some good portrait type shots of him today. And the Meerkat's, well they are still escaping regularly .
Took a trip down the Chilterns today in search of Red Kites, was another good day weather wise so thought it would be good, thing was though, the Kites were not in a playing helpful type mood, they either stayed well away from me, resulting in having to crop heavily, or if they did venture close, they were coming from the sun, so ended up back-lit, meant I had to Post Process quite a bit, still it was fun, and gives an excuse to try again .
Hi, had another good visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park today, the weather was good, lots of sun, blue skies and white fluffy clouds  , was sad not seeing Jessie the Amur Leopard, but did manage to to get a glimpse of the 3rd male Shiffaka in his Quarantine Enclosure, also got to see all three of the Lions out and about, and also spotted that the Meerkats are on the escape again, while around their enclosure, one of them scaled the wall and made a break for it, after a few shots (had to be done  ) managed to encourage him/her to go back home.
Hi, Had a great shoot with Ashlea Louise down at Paul's Studio today, working with 2 lighting styles, first being more high key lighting, second more low key, managed to get some shots I liked, and even got some that I liked allot, was good working with Ashlea again as she is great to work with, she has a skill of giving the pose you are looking for to make the shot, will put some of the shots in the Gallery section over the coming day's (once I have processed the raw files).
Some sad news from Cotswold Wildlife Park, Jessei the Male Amur Leopard had to put him to sleep yesterday 24th February 2010, it is a great shame as he was a great cat to watch on my many visits, he will be missed by many visitors, Details on Cotswold's site here, RIP Jessei June 1992 – February 2010.
Well, today was the day of my first Talk Photography meet at Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford, Oxfordshire. Was good to see some old faces and meet quite a few more, the weather on the day, despite the forecast saying bad, turned out to be very good, too good at times with the bright sun causing some harsh light (we will always complain ), the day was full of fun and photo opportunities (and not just the animals ), but the highlight of the day had to be Brionys cakes , hope to get some shots up soon, and already looking forward to doing it again.
HI, welcome to my new site, this has been a long time coming, with a bit to go, I have taken the plunge and designed the site through Wordpress, and so far I am liking the experience of it all, over the coming weeks I intend to get the site to where I want it, and also start a record of my many visits to Cotswold Wildlife Park, I will also be adding snippets about my journey in to the world of studio photography, so anyway, let's get on with it, Stu.
